At New Life Foundation, we’re dedicated to helping you rediscover yourself and find meaning in life. Our mindfulness retreat and recovery center is built on a foundation of engaged community living, mindfulness, and integrative care. Who We Are

Our work carries on the mission of the New Life Foundation, a non-profit mindful recovery centre established in 2010 in Chiang Rai, Thailand. For over a decade, we offered a residential retreat program for individuals struggling with challenges like stress, burnout, depression, anxiety, and substance use. After the challenges of 2020, we are now on our own journey of renewal as we find innovative ways to continue supporting your wellbeing. As always, our values remain affordability, sustainability, and service.

Guided Meditation and Mindfulness Sessions

Relieve stress and learn how to work with difficult emotions. Cultivate compassion, calmness, and insight for everyday life. Classes are taught by trained instructors and facilitators in a variety of contemporary and classic techniques and traditions including vipassana (insight), shamatha (concentration), metta (loving-kindness), body scans, MBSR, and more.

Support Groups

Connect and share in a safe and confidential setting. Hear from others who can relate to how you feel, overcome isolation, shame, and stigma, and reflect on your experiences with gentleness and self-compassion. We organise a variety of meetings including Women’s and Men’s Circles, process groups, social anxiety and recovery support, and more.

Workshops, Courses, and Retreats

Learn effective tools in a wide range of modalities for addressing burnout, anxiety, depression, addictive behaviours, dysfunctional relationships, and other challenges you might be facing.
